22D THE PSI STREAM
(a) Construction of psi patterns.
The psi patterns are constructed so that there are as nearly as possible and equal number of dots and crosses in each impulse of the Ψ' (extended psi) and ΔΨ' streams. This implies that each Ψ wheel has
(1) as nearly as possible an equal number of crosses and dots in the undifferenced wheel, (actually one more cross than dot).
(2) a proportion b of crosses in each differenced (unextended Ψ) where .
(b) A few identities.
